Allen, Monica Lee (nee Darnley)
“Love You More”
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Monica, at Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House, surrounded by Family, after her courageous battle with cancer. Monica lived each day for her Family and her grandchildren were her biggest joy. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity, and her big smile.
Monica will be deeply missed and forever loved by her husband, Tom, of 46 years, their son Tommie, daughter-in-law Danielle, grandchildren Kadence and Ryelee, her mother Eunice Stewart, sister Kellie Pollock (Roy), brothers Dwight Darnley (Cheryl) and Kim Darnley (Tina), sister Ann Roduck (Brian) and uncle Rick Nicholson, along with many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Monica was predeceased by her brother Glen Darnley, sister Carrie-Dale Bisson and her loving father Thomas Darnley.
The Family would like to thank everyone at Campbell House for their amazing support and kindness shown to Monica and her Family, and are very grateful to the rest of Monica’s care team and doctors that helped guide her through this last year.
At the request of Monica, no service will be held. Cremation will be followed by a Celebration of Life held in the Summer. In lieu of flowers, the Family requests donations to be made to Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House hospicegeorgiantriangle.com/donate/
