It is with heavy hearts the family announce that Milton Sr. passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family, Friday morning, January 29, 2021. Milton Hein of Carleton Place, Ontario at the age of 82. Predeceased by his beloved wife Rita Hein (nee Bruyére) (2013), daughter Donna Went (Gary) (2016) and son Robert Hein (2019). Dear father of Cheryl McMahon and Milton Hein Jr. (Laura). Cherished grandfather of Chris McMahon (Alyssa), Kevin McMahon (Tara), Keith Went (Brittany), Laura Went (Sean) and Daniel, Stephen, Emily and Dominique Hein. Much loved great-grandfather to Isla, Aubrey, Eden, Addison and Declan McMahon and Joseph Hein. Dear brother of Dalton (Christine), Ellis (Ruth), Mel (late Ellen), Wayne (late Maryann) and Verna Fee. Will be missed by the Bruyére family and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Son of the late Erma (Yuck) and Joseph Hein of Kinburn, Ontario. Milton enjoyed spending time with his family and held a great work ethic, always working hard, he enjoyed seeing the fruits of his labour. His mechanic skills were paramount and was always willing to help a lending hand to anyone who needed it. Special thanks to the many, many nurses and doctors involved with his care. Milton’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior where private family visitation will be held Thursday February 4, 2021 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service and interment at Arnprior Albert Street Cemetery in the spring. In memoriam donations to the Carleton Place Hospital Building Fund or to your local food bank would be appreciated.
