Obituary of Mildred Isabel Trodden
Mildred Isabel Trodden
August 18, 1925 – July 13, 2021
Peacefully at the Smiths Falls District Hospital on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 in her 96th year. Devoted wife of the late Thomas Trodden who retired from the RCAF after 31 years of service. Devoted mother to Mildred Thomas (Rayburn Trotter) and the late Gary Lawrence Trodden. Daughter of the late Thomas Drummond Saunders and the late Olive Kathleen Brennan. Survived by two sisters Kaye Best and Thelma MacParlan. Predeceased by seven brothers and four sisters. Also survived by one granddaughter Leanne Hobbs and predeceased by one granddaughter Jenny Pepper. Survived by six great grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
Mildred worked for the Bank of Montreal and retired after 25 years.
Friends are invited to join the family for a memorial service on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Chapel. Interment will follow at a later date at Guthrie United Church Cemetery in Clayton, Ontario. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home. Online condolences available at www.lannin.ca
