Mildred Judd, beloved wife of the late David Judd, of Virden, Manitoba passed away at Virden Health Centre, Virden, on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Mildred passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
A private immediate family graveside service will be held. Interment will be in Virden Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to Kelchris Inc. P.O. Box 2590 Virden, MB R0M 2C0 in memory of Mildred. Jenna, her granddaughter, is an individual who is supported by the non-profit organization of Kelchris.
Millie was the eldest daughter of Wasyl and Veronica Sackaruk. She has one brother, William Sackaruk who is still living in Emerson, MB.
Mildred married Dave Judd on November 16, 1953.
They have 2 daughters: Verna Fillion (Norbert) and Donna Gabrielle (Wayne).
She has 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; they were her whole life. Jordan (Lexi), Jenna, Landon (Steph), Lyam and Levi Fillion and Rhyleigh (Riley) and Layton (Krisite) Gabrielle. She absolutely loved her family and everything that surrounded them.
Grandma Mil was a person who loved life to the fullest. She was a people person, she loved to help everyone and was never judgemental about anyone.
Grandma Mil was full of music and laughter. She played many different instruments that were all self taught. As a woman of many talents, she played all music by ear and was a beautiful singer as well.
Concerts in the community were her pride and joy, especially Christmas concerts as that was her absolute favourite time of the year. She always got her kids involved, having Donna and Verna star in these concerts for many, many years.
Mom was a sports lover, she exceled at curling and loved to play! She got most joy though out of watching her grandkids. From hockey to arm wrestling, to volleyball and car racing, she was always there cheering them on as their number one fan.
Mom enjoyed dancing, lunches out with friends and travelling. Disney Land was her all time favourite.
Grandma Mil was our teacher; she taught us how to enjoy our life and our family.
She had a golden heart and was loved by all.
We are not saying goodbye. You will live in our hearts and memories forever as we walk side by side.
