Mildred Isabelle Merritt Keillor August 11 2021

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished mom, Mildred Isabelle Keillor (nee Merritt), better known as Mid. She passed away peacefully at South Bruce Hospital, in Kincardine, Ontario, on Wednesday, August 11th, 2021 with her beloved children at her side, just short of her 95th birthday September 26th.
Daughter of the late Charles and Vinnie (nee Goessell) Merritt. Beloved wife of the late Doug Keillor (2003) and the late Gerald (Perk) Pierson (1978) and daughter-in-law of the late John and Pearl Pierson. Lovingly remembered by her children Dennis Pierson (Carol) and Dianne Flynn (Mike) all of Kincardine. Forever remembered by her grandchildren Michelle Myers (Lorin) and Mike Pierson (Tish). Great Grandchildren Derek (April), Branden (Bronte), Bailey and Breigha. Great Great Grandchildren Kaine, Lincoln, Remy, Ronin, Nash and Atley. Sadly missed by several generations of nephews and nieces. Mid was predeceased by her brothers and sisters Helenor Kennedy, Charles Merritt, Arthur Merritt, Dorothy Dagg, Elwood Merritt, Olive Fry and Grace Merritt.
Mid was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, loved golf, winters in Florida, music, dancing and entertaining family and friends. She was born and raised in Kincardine, moving to London, Ontario only to eventually return to Kincardine.
A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
Gone but never forgotten and forever in our hearts.
Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 183, Kincardine, the Huron Shores Hospice, Tiverton or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
