Mildred Huxter July 4th 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred Jean Huxter announces her passing at the Valley Vista in Springdale on July 4, 2021 at the age of 94. Mildred was a member of the Springdale Pentecostal Church.
She was predeceased by her parents George and Blanche Rice, four brothers and two sisters, her loving Husband, William, her children, George, Jerry, Patsy, Christopher, and her daughter in law, Irene.
Left to remember with fond and loving memories are her sons Scott, Wilbert, Terry and David; her Daughters Eunice, Pauline and Golda. She also leaves to mourn her brother Clayton, Sister Georgina, 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Mildred met and married the love of her life on October 17, 1945 and together they raised 9 children. She had a great passion for knitting, sewing and crocheting. She loved spending time down to Port Anson at her cabin visiting with her family. Mildred loved reading her Bible and learning about the Word of God. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Pastor Lindsay Foster will conduct the funeral service at Springdale Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, July 7 at 11 am.
Pallbearers are David Huxter – son, Lewis Oxford – son in law and nephews: Bill Hamilton, George Rice, Jack Huxter and Robert Knight.
The family would like to thank the staff of Kingsway Living, Central Health and Central Funeral home for all their support and care shown to Mom and her family. Your kindness will not be forgotten.
