Death notice for the town of: Glace-Bay, Province: Nova Scotia
I volunteered with Mick at the Glace Bay Food Bank. Mike was mostly quiet, but get a couple of beer in him and he was a riot. He was a wonderful man who kept to himself. He was kind, and always eager to help. Him and the foodbank boys helped move me into my new place in June, and they sure worked hard. Me, him and Crawford would go to stores and schools to pick up donations together for the food bank as well.
My youngest boy, Owen, shared his birthday with Mick, as well as another volunteer, Crawford, Owen turned 4, Mick turned 64, and Crawford turned 74 on June 13th, 2021. This was pretty special. Mick loved children, especially Owen. Owen absolutely loved Mick and was always looking for him.
Mick is going to be well missed, and always thought about, especially when volunteering at the food bank. He is still there in spirit and always will be.
My sympathy goes to his Brother, Paul, his family, friends, those who knew him, and the Glace Bay Food Bank Crew <3 Love ya Mick , hugs, rest easy and fly high, until we meet again. <3
