Obituary
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Donald ‘Mike’ Devlin which occurred at his residence on Thursday, November 25th, 2021. Mike was born on December 4, 1953 in Saint John, NB to the late Robert and Joan (Conway) Brockie.
Mike shared in a rewarding 37-year career working as a nursing orderly both at the Old General Hospital and Saint John Regional Hospital. He will be remembered as a very sociable person who enjoyed playing cards, being around others and creating lifelong friendships at the racetrack.
Mike is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Debbie and their children; Sonja (Ryan) Dollar and Josh Devlin. He is also survived by his cherished granddaughter Avery. He will be forever missed by his mother in-law Beverley Campbell, uncle Dougie (Cora) Conway, sister in-law Linda (David) Yeomans, brother in-law Rob (Christine) Campbell and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mike is predeceased by his precious grandson Elijah Dollar, father in-law Bob Campbell and sister in-law Dawn Mabee.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation hours being held on Monday, November 29th between the hours of 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Liturgy will take place from the Fundy Chapel on Tuesday at 1 pm, with Father Ken Weir officiating.
Interment to be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
