It is with great sadness that the family of Michelle Marie Pitre, 51, of Petit Rocher, formerly of Big River, daughter of Ivan Pitre and the late Patricia Pitre announce her passing which occurred peacefully at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst on Saturday July 10th 2021.
Besides her father, she is survived by one son, Matthew Poirier and one daughter, Manda Angers (Luc) both from Bathurst.
One brother, Ivan Pitre (Tracy) and one, sister Karen Mazerolle (Richard) both of Bathurst.
Three grandchildren: Taylor, Maverick and Eliane.
Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was pre-deceased by her loving mother, Patricia Pitre.
Michelle had an enormous love for her family especially her children and grandchildren.
Those who knew Michelle even just a little, lost a shinning light in their lives. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the Doctors and staff of the Dyalysis department, ICU, and the Palliative care unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital. We are so greatful for your compassion and kindness.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral Tuesday July 20th by invitation only.
Donations in memory of Michelle may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

  1. All our wonderful times together, snowmobiling, summer vacation and Jamaica trip, shopping she knew how to have fun and made sure we all had fun. She cooked seafood no other, just wanted everyone to enjoy. We will miss you like crazy, but we hang on to the memories you gave us to keep. Thank Don, Carole Mike and Roxanne Dagenais
