Obituary of Michel Grenier
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Michel Grenier in Orleans, Ontario on December 30, 2020 at the age of 34.
Beloved and treasured son of Nicole and step-father Shane Lachance, partner of Lyn Warner and two children Karina and Kyle. He will be sadly missed by Tank and his two girls Storm and Nala. Leaving to mourn with treasured memories, his Pepère Ernest (Louise Bissonnette), aunts and uncles, Joanne (Rick Matton), André (Joanne Laurin), Lise-Giz (Ron Riopelle), Pauline-Popo, Denis (Colette Leblanc), and Johanne Gervais (Luc Paquin). He leaves behind his two cousins Eric and Bob and lifelong friend of 27 years Phil Gibeault (Simone Bell). Predeceased by Grandmother Thérèse (Gauthier) and his Aunt Diane.
Michel brought joy to the lives of so many people with his laughter and his big smile. He loved to talk and laugh! He lived hard and loved life to the fullest. Michel was passionate about hockey, cooking, bonfires, entertaining, fishing and hanging out with family and friends. He loved his ice shack and will be missed by his friends at Petrie Island.
He was a die-hard Habs fan and he will be laughing because he now has the best seat in the house! Go Habs go!
Michel loved to talk and wasn’t shy to strike up a conversation with a complete stranger. He seemed to know someone everywhere he went. He will be missed by so many….
Due to COVID 19, Michel’s celebration of life will take place at a later date.
Michel would say… Don’t cry over me leaving, live life to the fullest and hug the ones you love!
Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Ottawa Humane Society.
