Obituary of Michael Piggott
PIGGOTT, Michael Rantell peacefully with family by his side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Wiarton Monday morning July 5, 2021. Michael Piggott of Howdenvale in his 92nd year.
He was always full of energy and enthusiasm which he applied to his career in science and his mountaineering. He loved his family and instilled in them his love of science and the outdoors which they have passed on to their children.
Beloved husband of Norma (nee Clarke). Cherished father of Diana Piggott and her husband Bart Hicks of Calgary, Andrew Piggott and his wife Hiroko of Toronto and Stephen Piggott and his wife Dierdre of Montreal . Much loved grandfather of Matthew (Adrienne), Alex, Chris, Paul, Sebastian and Timothy. Dear brother of Margaret Piggott of Alaska. Predeceased by parents Ethel and Henry Piggott and his brother Phillip.
