Michael chose to sail away on Tuesday morning peacefully at home supported by the love of his family. He’s our hero outlasting the odds of his illness with grace, humour and dignity. Michael leaves behind his loving wife Patsy (Parrotta) Dominick and two step-children Franco and Greyson. Loving son of Marlene Ivy Dominick and Walter William Dominick (predeceased); and dear big brother to Karen (husband John Sagman), Jason and Judy (husband Fabiano Garcia). He will also be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Supported throughout his lifetime and especially during his final journey by dearest friends Michael and Marisa Ziminski.
Family and friends were the foundation of Michael’s life. From diapers, Michael was his dad’s shadow building the family business alongside his brother. Lover of great wine and thick steaks, Michael enjoyed sailing around the Benjamin Islands, long lunches and Saturday steak night. He was a big guy with a big smile, a bigger heart, big dreams, and big love for his family. Blue skies and smooth sailing ahead, Michael.
