Michael Norman Verreault
Michael “Mike” Norman Verreault, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021, at Cutbank Campground outside Grande Cache, AB, at the age of 49 years.

Mike was born on February 7, 1972, in McLennan, AB, to Norman and Doreen Verreault. The family moved to Grande Prairie in 1973. He was raised on an acreage on the outskirts of Grande Prairie with his sister JoAnne. He graduated from St. Joe’s High School at the age of 16 years old. Mike then proceeded to acquire his Post Secondary Education in Edmonton, AB, at N.A.I.T and obtained his Mechanic Engineering Degree. He took his skills into the Oil Patch and started his own company.

Mike was a hard worker and ran his business as an owner and operator. He was motivated, caring, and always looked out for his family and friends.

Mike loved the outdoors, quadding, anything fast and loud, as well as hockey and any other sports.

Mike will be sadly missed by his son Mike Ragan; father Norman Verreault; sister JoAnne Verreault; as well as many, many other close friends and family.

Mike was predeceased by his mother Doreen Verreault; uncle Raimond Therrien; as well as the grandparents on both the Verreault and Therrien sides of the family.

A Graveside Service will the held on Monday, July 5, 2021, at 10:00am at Ste. Anne Cemetery in Fahler, AB.
