Michael Joseph Racicot Friday December 10th 2021

Racicot, Michael Joseph:
Passed away peacefully on December 10, 2021, at Hospice Waterloo Region at the age of 84. Michael leaves behind his soul mate and companion, Pennie. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his children Shaun Reagan (Jenny Reagan) of Waterloo ON, Debbie Racicot of Belleville ON, Jim Racicot of Edmonton AB, Barbara Racicot of Edmonton AB. Mike was the proud grandfather of Callie Reagan who he spent every moment he could playing with and entertaining her. He will be remembered sincerely by his extended family and friends.
Mike was a long-time employee of The KW Surplus family and a huge supporter of the Waterloo Warriors Women’s hockey team, where his son Shaun is the head coach. Mike loved to attend games and cheer on the team and will be missed by all around the Columbia Ice Fields. He was a caring and kind soul who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
At Mike’s request, to assist in the advance of the medical and science field, his body has been donated
to the University of Waterloo.
A special Thank you to The Gies Family Hospice & Cook Family Residence for their exceptional care and
kindness to Michael and his family. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Region of Waterloo
Hospice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
