Passed away suddenly at the age of 57 on July 14th, 2021. Michael will always be remembered for his quirky sense of humour and wicked intelligence. He could debate anything and anyone and if you had an opinion, you better be prepared to back it up. Dear son of Rosemarie and the late Donald Macdonell (1992), brother to Maureen (Andrew), the late Catherine (2007)(Gerald Hollywood) and Douglas (Laurie). He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Kyle, Madelyn, Brandon and Hailey. A private family service will be held on Friday, August 6th, 2021 at 2 o’clock in the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home chapel – 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and are greatly appreciated by the family.
