Obituary
Peace, Michael Jason
May 10, 1985 – December 15, 2021
Michael passed away unexpectedly on December 15 2021, with his family by his side. Michael leaves behind his two young children, Sam and Amelia, his best friend and mother of his children, Sarah, his brother Dave, and parents Dan and Alison. Also survived by his maternal grandparents, loving aunts and uncles, and cousins. Michael was born in May 1985 in Victoria. His early passions were basketball and cross country/track. Michael was a role model to his younger brother, who wanted to do everything just like him growing up. Michael’s family moved to Kelowna in 2000 where he got into construction at an early age and excelled in the field. He continued to learn, and rise in the industry all through his adulthood. His work ethic and dedication to his craft was unmatched. Michael was never happier than seeing his children born and spending time with them. Unfortunately, he struggled with his mental health through much of his life. Despite battling his own personal demons, Michael continued to be a loving son, brother, friend and amazing father. Although our hearts ache to lose him so early, his memory will live on with us forever.
In lieu of flowers, we would ask for donations to be made in his name to the Canadian Mental Health Association. (cmhakelowna.crowdchange.ca/2187)
There will be a celebration of life in spring 2022
