Leaving us with many wonderful memories. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Michael Francis, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 5th at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, age 83 years. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Bathsheba, his daughter Paulette, and his brothers Max and Stan.
Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 63 years Barbara, his sons: Francis, Richard (Brenda), Dennis (Brenda), David, James (Carol) and Kirk; his grandchildren: Sherri, Krista, Katie, Michaela, Julia, Michael, David, Matthew, Michael, Jesse; great grandchildren: Mary Rachel and Eric; brothers Maurice (Debby), Paul (Dale), sisters-in-law Christine and Shirley, a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; and special friends Calvin and Marilyn Hicks.
We would like to thank the staff at the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion for your loving care for the past 9 months and to the staff at the St. Claire’s Mercy Hospital Emergency Unit for your kindness and helping us through this difficult time. As well as a special thank you to daughter-in-law Brenda (Dennis).
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home,84 LeMarchant Road on Sunday, October 10th from 1 p.m.- 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. The family request’s that anyone wishing to attend the visitation wears a mask and adhere to social distancing and COVID-19 regulations and procedures.
Funeral Mass to take place from St. Teresa’s Church on Monday, October 11th at 11am and can be viewed online from here. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice
