It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we say goodbye to our father and brother Mike. Mike succumbed to his battle with cancer with dignity and strength. Mike is survived by his children Megan and Tyler and his sisters Faye Dewar (Ken Jung), Sue Winter (Roger) and Lee Brooks (James). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a large extended family. He will be greatly missed by his close friends Cory Lindsay and Craig Lindsay. His children Meg and Ty were his life.. he was very proud of them and his love for them was immeasurable. Mike was predeceased by his parents Marge Thevenot and Jules Thevenot, sisters Irene Thevenot and Judy Nolet (Gaetan) and brother-in-law Don Rand. It is to these family members and other loved ones we pass Mike into their loving arms. Mike was an AVID Maple Leafs fan. He enjoyed spending his nights in his “Man Cave” if the Leafs weren’t playing, the History Channel was on. Mike will be remembered as a kind and caring man.. and his smile cannot be forgotten. We would like to thanks Dr. Kolano for taking care of Mike, her compassion and kindness is appreciated. To the nurses from Bayshore that helped with Mike’s care.. and a special thank you to his nurse Teresa. Mike was employed at Kelgor for 24 years and was a member of the Boilermakers Union Local 128. There will be a celebration of life for Mike on Saturday Nov. 6th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 62 (286 Front St., Sarnia). Arrangements entrusted to the D. J.
