MENSAH Kathleen Walsh October 3 2021

(February 1955 – October 2021)
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kathy after a brief illness.
She will be missed by her husband Chaldeans, her siblings: JoAnn (Dave) Morrissey; Pat (Klaas) Rodenburg; Mary K (Geoff) Cuskelly; Tim (Kay) and Barb (John Morley). Her seven nieces and nephews: Brad Morrissey (Jessica Pink) and their son Edward; Brent Morrissey; Norma Rodenburg (Mike Chow) and their daughters Madeline and Elizabeth; Elliott Rodenburg (Eboni); Melissa Rodenburg (Graeme Mellway); Lachlan Cuskelly and Ella Cuskelly.
Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Joe in 2020 and Margo in 2021, as well as her sister Teresa also in 2021.
The oldest of seven kids, Kathy was quick to spread her wings and from an early age loved to travel. Living in many cities across Europe and Australia, she settled back in Edmonton in the 1980’s. Kathy and Chaldeans married in 1992. They loved road trips, traveling each year to Waterton National Park, and to the US Southwest. Kathy was a voracious reader and loved following politics. Her dry sense of humour brought lots of laughter to family gatherings.
As per Kathy’s wishes a private celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
