DODDS, Melvyn Joseph “Joe” – Peacefully at home with his beloved Joyce by his side on Sunday, April 11th, 2021 in his 70th year. Joe Dodds of Pembroke, beloved partner of Joyce Matthews. Sadly missed by his chidlren David, Darlene, Joey, and Cory, by step children Robert (Linda), Chris, William (Kelley) and Todd (Jen) Matthews, and by siblings Melva (Jim) Kelley, Dianne (Larry) Galbraith, Eldon (Esther) Dodds and Evan (Wanda) Dodds. Loved by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. He had many talents baking the many goodies at Christmas and through out the year that will be missed by many near and far. Gardening, along with all the cartoon characters that he made and painted so that the young children and also adults going by would stop and enjoy. He was willing to give a helping hand to anyone. Joe was devoted fan of Elvis Presley listening to his music and having a room dedicated to Elvis. He worked at the IGA in Ottawa for years, and he was loved by his boss Reginald (Pauline) Moise and his peers. Respecting Joe’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his Life will take place at a later date. Arrangements by the
