Passed away peacefully at home, holding his wife’s hand, on Monday, December 13, 2021 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Moe for over 43 years. Loving father of Caleb and Sakura Watson. Mel loved his girlfriend – The 57 Buick. The “lead kings” were great friends to Mel. Special thanks for everything to Brandon, Mank and the Thursday night pool guys. Also special thanks to Mel’s nursing angels Linda, Haleema, and Sarah you have earned your nursing wings. Dr. Valdez you are a kind, gentle star. Mel’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener. Funeral Service in the chapel on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 1 p.m. Please note that if you plan to attend the visitation or the service, masks are mandatory and you must RSVP your attendance through the funeral home website or by calling (519) 749-8467.
