Memorial Donation
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Melita Mary Adamson (nee Hoskins) announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Monday, June 21st, 2021 at the age of 73 years. Melita was the daughter of the late Ted and Mary Hoskins (nee Benoit). She was also predeceased by her husband; Grant Adamson, daughter; Trudy Collier, son; Chad Collier, siblings; Don, Melvin Hoskins, Johnny, Patrick, Donna Crant.
Melita leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories her loving son Randy Collier (Diane Gavin), daughters; Trina Collier, Karen Collier, grandchildren; Christopher, Paige, Rodney, and great-grandson; Cole. She also leaves behind her siblings; Elizabeth Hoskins, Robert, Thomas, Richard, Michael, Patrick, Maryjane, Marilyn, Agnes, Annie Crant.
Melita will forever be missed by her special friends; Diane, Gloria, and Jim Collier who took Melita under his wing for the past eleven year, and caregiver Edna, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In keeping with Melita’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or service at this time. A celebration of Melita’s life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Melita’s memory can be made to the Newfoundland and Labrador Canadian Cancer Society, 70 Ropewalk Lane St. John’s, NL A1B 3R9.
