Obituary of Melba Wallace
Peacefully in Shawville hospital long term on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of the late William Wallace and predeceased by first husband William Sparling. Loving mother of Randy Sparling (Denise Ralston), Rhonda Sparling (Martin Ladouceur) and Ron Wallace. Cherished grandma of Kevin (Claudine), Chelsea (Tylor), Samantha (Nick) and Jake (Jenna) and great grandma of Hudson. Dear sister of Lloyd, Fred (late Brenda), Harry (Marion), Merle (Harold Smith) and Patsy (late Kenny) and predeceased by Marion, Reuben, Lindsey and Annie-May. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Melba was a long time employee of Pontiac Community Hospital.
Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 10 am to 12 pm. Funeral will follow in Dunraven United Church, Calumet Island, Quebec at 1 p.m. Interment Parish Cemetery. Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
