EDDY, May Ann (née HOSKIN) – Passed away at home after a lengthy and arduous battle with cancer, on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the age of 80. May was the beloved wife of the late Albert Eddy (2007). Loving mother of Mary Jane (Thierry Roussel) and Dennis (Kerri). Cherished Grama of Jessica Roussel and Jordan Eddy (Dylan). Dear sister of Vera (Harry), Harold (Joan), the late Jean (Bob), Norm (Heather), Ruth, Keith (Terri) and Loyd (Dale). She will be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. May was a dear friend to Beverlee.
The family is deeply grateful for the care she received from the Princess Margaret Hospital medical staff and support team, as well as the kind and caring PSW’s and nurses that helped ease her pain.
Visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Monday, December 13th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. An intimate family service will take place on Tuesday, December 14th at the Stoddart Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bethesda Cemetery, Tyrone. If desired, a memorial donation to the Cambray Community United Church would be appreciated by the family.
