Memorial Donation
LEGGE, MAX. It is with heavy hearts that we annouce the passing of Maxwell Legge, of Heart’s Content, who passed away at the Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion on April 7th 2020, aged 73 years. Max was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and uncle. Predeceased by parents Frank and Rebecca (nee Cumby) Legge; brother Gerald, sisters Edith and Dorothy, brothers in law Herb, Bob (Lil), Steve, Earl, Junior and sister in law Edith (John) as well as parents in law Ethel and Belah Welsh. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 53 years, Ida, his children Kim, Scott (Ann), and Frank (Alicia) and two grandchildren, Rebecca (Mel) and Riley. Also left to mourn are his sisters Jean, Judy (Aubrey), Sheila (Greg), and brothers Frank (Eileen), Herb (Fiona) Cliff (Debbie) and brother Randy (Heather); brothers in law Max (Jessie), George (Ina) and sisters in law Minnie, Madge, Vera (Richard), Alva, Mabel and Phyllis as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Max’s life will be held on Saturday August 28 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary’s Anglican, Heart’s Content. Visitation will be held on Friday August 27 at Green’s Funeral Home, Winterton from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary’s Cemetery Fund, Heart’s Content.
