Maxine E. MacFarlane
1930-2021
It is with sadness the family of Maxine E. (Pomeroy)
MacFarlane announce her passing at Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, NB. on
Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
Born in Little Ridgeton, NB, daughter of the late Ernest and
Carrie Pomeroy.
Maxine was a member of the United Church, where she taught
Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. She was also a
member of Rebekah Lodge and supporting her community, was one of her
greatest passions. She loved camping, traveling with her family, her
flower gardens and any event she could plan or attend.
Maxine’s love for her children, grandchildren, great
grandchildren and great-great grandchild was shown in her dedication
to years of love and support.
Maxine is survived by her children: Debbie McLean (Brian),
Diane Stafford (Troy), Dale MacFarlane (Lorena), Ross MacFarlane and
Jackie MacFarlane (Danny), many grandchildren, great-grandchildren,
and great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
husband Keith, three children, Gerry, Linda and Michael,
granddaughter, Tiffany and three sisters.
Funeral service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son
Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St Stephen, NB. on Sunday, July 4,
2021 at 3 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for
a time of visitation on Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 6-8
PM

Interment to follow at Pomeroy Ridge Cemetery, Pomeroy Ridge,
NB.
