Memorial Donation
Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Thursday April 29, 2021, Matilda Melvin of Tors Cove, in her 88th year. Formerly of LaManche village. Predeceased by her husband Alfred, April 2011, mother and Father Philip and Isabelle Melvin. Her sisters Madeline O’Brien, Annie O’Brien, Betty, Pauline and Bernadette Melvin. Her brothers Ron, Vince, Dave, George, Pat, Andrew, Tom and Philip Melvin. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Connie Marie and Son-in-law Robert Reddigan with whom she resided. Her sisters Joan Dalton, Mildred Bruff, Theresa Dinn, and Molly Thomas, brother Austin and wife Thelma. Also a large circle of nieces and nephews and relatives and friends. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls.
Visitation will take place on Saturday May 1st, from 7-9 pm, and Sunday May 2nd, from 2-9 pm. Funeral mass from St. Patrick’s RC Church, Witless Bay on Monday May 3rd at 10 am. Cremation to follow.
To the world she was one, to us she was the world, Loves ya Mom.
