Obituary of Mary McNally
McNALLY – Mary Ann Oliva McNally (nee Fisher) of Goodness Retirement Home in St. Thomas, passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at the age of 91. Mary is survived by her loving children Connie (Peter) Sukmanowsky of Brantford, Becki (Bob) Gorman of Courtenay, BC, Melanie (Graeme) MacLean of St. Thomas, Valerie Smith of Es, Cathy Danielson of Langley, BC, and Brian McNally of White Rock, BC; by her grandchildren Nathan Sukmanowsky (Monika Mikulek), Eric (Becky) Sukmanowsky and their daughter Hailie, Madison Gorman and her daughter Haven, Teri (Andy) Doan and their children Avery Peyton and Kal, Danielle (Jerry) Anglehart and their children J.J. and Jerdanna, Gwen (Mike) Quigg and their children Keenan, Autumn and Cameron, Garrett MacLean, and Zack Smith and his daughter Raeley; and by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband George McNally, her daughter Chrys Smith and by her son Marc Smith. Mary was the last surviving member of her family. She was born in Tillsonburg to the late John and Sylvia Fisher and worked for many years as a Nurse’s Aid in Dearness Home and several other Long Term Care Facilities. Cremation has taken place. A private interment of ashes will take place in Tillsonburg Cemetery on a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).
