In loving Memory of MaryAnn Armstrong (nee Pilotte), 67 years who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at her home. Beloved wife of Wayne Armstrong of 47 years. Loving mother of Scott Armstrong (Anny) and Chelsea Armstrong. Cherished grandmother of Ella and Ben. Dear daughter of Joe and Anna Pilotte both predeceased and daughter-in-law of Percy and Theda Armstrong both predeceased. Dear sister of Raymond Pilotte predeceased (Judy) and sister-in-law of Gerry predeceased (Vicky), Carol, Danny predeceased, Randy, Laurie (Dean McKenzie) and Robbie (Maryann). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. MaryAnn worked at Nordic Bearings, Maslack for over 40 years. She loved travelling, spending time at the cottage on Nepewassi Lake, a long-time dog lover and the ultimate shopper. She was happiest when surrounded by her family at gatherings and dinners and she was the world’s ultimate mother and grandmother. The family would like to thank the nurses, PSW’s, Dr. Walton and Tammy Shearing from LIHN for exceptional care and support. A Memorial Service will be held in the R.J. Barnard Chapel at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 12noon. Friends may gather after 10am Monday. Facemasks and social distancing are mandatory. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice or the SPCA Sudbury would be appreciated.
