Passed peacefully away at home on October 3rd, 2021 at the age of 88 years.
Predeceased by her parents Ralph and Gladys Barfitt, sister Joan Quinton and great grandchild Greger.
Leaving to mourn her loving children: Wayne, Allan, Corinna (Sterling), Clarence (Debbie), Rodney (Kelly), Theresa and Melvin (Mary “Sis”); grandchildren: Michael, Jeremy, Jeffrey, Kimberly, Roland, Felicia, Stephen, Edward, Matthew, Christopher, Holly, Jacinta, Crystal, Rodney, April, Stephanie and Hope; 33 great grandchildren; siblings: Dinah, Clara, Sandra, Frances, Chesley, Oswald, Luke, Sheldon and Paul as well as other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 6th, 2021 from 2pm-9pm at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, St. John’s. Funeral service will be held at Barrett’s Chapel on Thursday, October 7th, 2021 at 2pm, with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
