In loving memory of Mary McNeill (nee Gilfillan) Remington, 82 years who passed away on December 29, 2021 at Health Sciences North.
Beloved wife of Robert Remington. Loving mother of Heather Gaffney and her husband Brian; Dean (predeceased); Gary and his wife Tiffany Roberts; and Andrew (predeceased). Cherished grandmother of Ashley and Ryan Remington, and Erin and Sophie Gaffney. Dear daughter of John and Elizabeth Gilfillan (predeceased). Dear sister to James, Jack, Sadie, and Harry all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, notably her niece Ann Benoit whose friendship she held dear.
Born in Kilsyth Scotland, Mary immigrated to Canada at the age of nineteen to begin a new life. It was in Sudbury where she met her husband and started a family. In her retirement years, Mary loved her winters in Florida where she valued the friendships she made with fellow snowbirds. Her greatest joy was to return home to her children and her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
