Mary McHENRY nee Languay 1924

Mary McHENRY (née Languay)
1924 – 2021
After more than 97 years of loving, living, laughing, believing, caring, and sharing, Mary ‘Little Maime’ McHenry, (nee Languay) went home to be in the arms of her Lord on August 30, 2021.
Mom was joined there by her husband Robert, her son Barry, her daughter-in-law Kris, her parents Steve and Anna and brothers Joe and Peter, and friends for a chocolate fondue of celestial proportions.
A woman of deep faith and strong moral convictions, she lived her life according to her beliefs, treating others with respect and kindness.
Meanwhile back on earth, her sons John (Mary Lou), Timmy , Paul (Anny), her grandchildren Kaitlin (Jeff), Sean and Mark (Amy), great grandson Soren, little sister Anne (Richard), brother Billy (Lee), sister-in-law Norma and all her nieces and nephews will forever cherish our fond and loving memories of her.
A giving person, Mary believed in community, always there for her neighbours and friends, a cup of tea, a tea biscuit or sage advice. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel‘s Ladies Auxiliary for over 60 years and a long time supporter of the OAA and the Otterburn Boating Club.
She (not the cat’s mother)will be greatly missed and warmly remembered by countless friends and family.
Please, enjoy some chocolate ice cream or plant something pink and think of her and smile, keeping in mind that random acts of kindness will forever honour her memory.
The service and celebration of her life will be announced at a date.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Mary McHENRY nee Languay 1924..
