Death notice for the town of: Fergus, Province: Ontario
My heart took a blow today when I heard the sad news of Mary’s passing. Mary was part of my Heritage River Family and I will miss her greatly. I will miss Mary’s twinkling blue eyes, her contagious smile, her mischievous laughter and her pure joy and happiness for life. One day when Mary hadn’t arrived for lunch I went to investigate. I knocked and peeped my head into Mary’s room and found her staring out the window. Mary motioned for me to join her. Curious I went to stand at her side. With the biggest smile I have ever seen Mary says “LOOK! that’s my family, aren’t they beautiful!!” Down below, there was some wee little folks and some bigger ones too, smiling, waving and blowing kisses. Mary just beamed with joy and happiness and waved back. And that was the essence of Mary, a woman who had the knack of pulling you into the happy moments to experience them with her and leaving you feeling all warm and fuzzy on the inside. What a blessing it is to have known and loved such a beautiful spirit. To all of Mary’s family and friends, to all those who loved this woman and who will miss her the most I send my heartfelt condolences.
