Obituary of Mary G. Simmons
Of London, ON, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, in her 65th year. Dearly loved sister of Nikki Simmons (Jamie Winkler) of Port Stanley. She is fondly remembered by her many friends. Mary loved her cat, Maya. Born in Belleville, ON, August 26, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Verdun J. “Vern” and Edith G. (née Fear) Simmons. Mary was a retired Western University librarian. She attended Byron United Church and formerly Westmount Presbyterian Church, London. Mary enjoyed line dancing. Cremation has taken place, and private interment will be made in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. A celebration of life will be arranged for a later date. Memorial donations to the Humane Society London & Middle will be gratefully acknowledged. Arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
