Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, Mary Harris of Bunyans Cove, age 98 years. Predeceased by her mother Elsie Oldford; father Horwood Hussey; stepfather George Oldford; husbands Samuel Tucker and Hayward Harris; daughter Doris Oldford; son-in-law Rance Oldford; grandson Austin Oldford, granddaughter Judy Hobbs; sisters Frances Martin (Wilbur) and Rowena White (Winston); brother Anson (Gilda) Oldford. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Gerald (Monnie) Tucker; daughter Ella Frances (Les) Chatman; son Woodrow (Carol) Tucker; grandchildren Royden(Lawrence),Darryl(Deneen),Gerald(Suzette), Fabian(Stephanie),Julie, Sheena(Lenny),Paul and Ethan(Megan); great grandchildren Crystal, Nicole, Jessica, Andrew, Ryan, Brittany, Kirsten, Lauren, Drew, Kyleigh, Noah and Tyler; great great grandchildren Owen, Drake, Lincoln, Penelope, Xavier, Logan, Liam, Jack and Lacy; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at St. Paul’s United Church in Bunyan’s Cove on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul’s United Church, Bunyans Cove with interment to follow at the Old United Cemetery, Bunyans Cove. Due to Covid Restrictions visitations and the funeral service will be by invitation only. Please contact Ella Chatman if you wish to attend. No flowers by request. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Paul’s United Church.
