Obituary
Passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer, at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital. She was in her 65th year. Mary was the beloved wife to Gordon Herbert Sturgess, who predeceased her in 2015. Cherished mother of Linda McKinnon, Elizabeth Smith (Jay), Crystal, Stephen Sturgess (Andrea), Matthew Sturgess (Sasha Demers). Loving stepmother of Peter, and Radford Sturgess. Dear sister of Stephen Towner, and Robert Fraser. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred Stephen Towner, and Elizabeth Muriel Durston. Mary will be deeply missed by her many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In keeping with Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In memory, donations may be made to the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital and may be arranged by Reynolds Funeral Home. Messages of condolence may be shared at www.reynoldsfuneral.com
