Mary Carmel McLennan Gouthro Tuesday September 28th 2021

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary on Tuesday September 28, 2021, at the age of 84. Mary spent a majority of her life here in Ontario, but her heart was always in her birthplace of Glace Bay, on Cape Breton Island.
Mary leaves behind her loving daughter, Debbie Wagner, in addition to her cherished granddaughters, Cassandra and Caitlyn Wagner. Her heart will go on through her adored great grandchildren, Arianna, Cianna, Rylin, Hannah, and Bennett. For the past thirty years, Mary also stepped into the Mothering role for Joanne Conway, Arlene Hood and their families. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Ann, her many nieces and nephews, brother and sister in-laws, cousins, and her extended family members. Mary was a confidant, nurse, friend, supporter, and most importantly, loving to many people. She will be deeply missed.
Today she is reunited with the Lord. She is welcomed into the loving arms of her beloved husband Sandy McLennan, her parents, Ben and Johanna Gouthro. She will be embraced by her siblings, John, Pat, and Lorraine. She will be holding her dear great grandchildren, Kaiden and Taylor closely.
Mary is resting at Corbett Funeral, 95 Dundas Street, N., Cambridge (519)-740-0669 with visitation on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 5 pm – 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, 210 South Street, Cambridge, on Tuesday October 5, 2021 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge, ON.
