Mary Burton Lewis passed away on January 3, 2021 at the age of 97. Mary was born January 1,1924 on her homestead in Bon Accord, Alberta. She passed away in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Mary was known by many and love by all.
Mary was fortunate enough to walk and serve on this earth for 97 years and saw many things come into motion, like sliced bread, frozen food, VCR, CD, DVD, TV, the iron lung, scotch tape, the microscope, folding wheel chairs, birth control, rocket fuel, seat belts, the polio vaccine, microwaves, electrical appliances, antibiotics, copy machines, computers, blood banks, nylon, cell phones, stereo sound, the internet and many more.
She was predeceased by her Mother and Father Bertha and Charles, Sisters Olive and Shirley, Brothers Stewart, Bob, Tom Nephews Brian, Neil, and Dean, also Neice Beth.
She is survived by her Brother Vernon, Daughter Corinne, Sons Brad, Clark, and Lloyd; Grandchildren Amber, Dawn, Shane, Christal, Ken, Allen, Christine, Mary, and Kaya; Great-grandchildren Tyler, Autumn, Ashley, Summer, Tegan, Cera, Gavin, Sierenna, Brayden, Tiskina, Joe, Faith, Alex, Niko, Benny, Shaelynn, Brayden, Logan, King, and Baptist; Great-Great-grandchildren Izabella, Calliope, Bentley, and Declan.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will follow when the Covid opens up so that all can attend.
