Mary Blogowsky
Mary Blogowsky passed away peacefully on July 12, 2021 at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, SK. Mary was born to August and Polly Heinze in Wadena, SK on June 2, 1933.
Mary is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Duane and Violet Heinze of North Battleford, SK, her sister and brother-in-law, Eunice and Ron Coghill of Yorkton, SK, daughter-in-law Donna Martin of Dauphin, MB and grandson Terence Martin of Vancouver, BC. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents August and Polly Heinze, husband Walter Blogowsky, son Gerald Blogowsky, brothers Henry and Lawrence Heinze, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Patsy Blogowsky and Stella Shykulski.
Mary was raised on the family farm in the Rosebud area near Wadena, SK. She attended Wolverton, Wadena and Kelvington schools and then teacher’s college after which she taught in several Manitoba schools and in Glengarrif, SK.
Mary and Walter farmed at Grandview, MB and, after retirement, moved to Gilbert Plains, MB. After Walter passed away Mary moved back to Wadena, SK where she resided in her own home until her passing.
She loved her garden and her home and grew and nurtured beautiful roses and much garden produce.
Mary will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Mary will be laid to rest with her husband in Grandview, MB at a later date.
