Mary Anne. Oliver
Peacefully at Bobier Villa, LTCH, Mary Anne Oliver, age 78, passed away early in the morning on Monday, August 9, 2021. Beloved wife of the late James Robert Oliver. Mary Anne was a teacher, real estate broker and her passions were the piano, painting, Tai Chi, gourmet cooking, bridge, gardening and quilting. Mary Anne was born on May 16, 1943 in London, Ontario, to Dr. James Robert and Irene Beatrice Henderson. She was married to James Robert Oliver July 11, 1964 at Trinty Anglican Church in Lambeth, Ontario. Loving mother of Andrea Thistle and her husband Paul of Quispamsis, NB, Christopher Oliver and his wife Vicky of Lambeth, ON, and Janice Sutherland and her husband Jamie of Komoka, ON. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Shannon and Andrew Thistle, Robert and Spencer Oliver and Anna Rose and Jimmy Sutherland. Will be missed by her brother Dr. Robert Henderson. MaryAnne will also be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and extended family.
Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, Lambeth (519- 652-2020) on Sunday, August 15, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Monday, August 16, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. Due to COVID 19, attendance is restricted and by appointment only. Masks or face coverings are mandatory. Please join us in celebrating Mary Anne’s life on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m at St. Paul’s Cathedral, 472 Richmond Street, London ON.
