Marty Abtosway February 18 1964 August 16 2021

Marty Clifford Abtosway was born on February 18, 1964 in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan. He was one of six boys of Harry and Jean Abtosway. He was raised in Foam Lake surrounded by his brothers, who made his childhood a wonderful adventure. He started his working life by helping with farming, then moved on to the oil patch in Estevan. From there he moved to Calgary, where he met Lisa. They then moved to Grande Cache, Alberta, where he found a life in the mountains and loved it. It was his home away from home. On March 7, 1992 they were blessed with a son, Darren Marty Abtosway. Marty took a very active role in Darren’s extra-curricular activities by coaching, driving, and supporting him, especially when it came to hockey. Marty was known for his wit and ability to make anyone laugh. He was always willing to help anyone out whenever he could. He loved spending time with his family and working on his businesses. He had a lawn care business called “Marty Grass” along with a grader business called “Marty Plow”.
