HAROLD MARTIN of Elmvale (May 21, 1921 – May 1, 2021). Life-loving farmer, school bus driver and storyteller, with a passion for world travel and outdoor adventure. He lived his 99.9 years with grace, curiosity and kindness. He will be remembered for his eagerness to share the beauty of the world with others. He greeted events beyond his control with humour, and marvelled at a century of change.
Harold was predeceased by his first wife Joyce (nee Farrows) and his second wife Frances (nee Crooke). He is survived by his four children, James, Bryan (Linda Embro), Beverly (Ken Webb) and Lynn; his grandchildren Kristen, Jennifer, Stephen (Maarika Hiis), Allison (Joshua Porco); and great-granddaughter Millie.
Harold made our lives brighter in every way. His spirit, kindness and good humour will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the children’s charity, Home Free (www.home-free.org).
