Obituary of Marlene Jacqueline Harnish
June 14, 1938 – October 19, 2021
It is with mixed feelings that we the family announce the death of Marlene Harnish. We will miss her joy and contagious laughter, but knowing that she is now in the presence of her Heavenly Father lessens the pain and sadness. Marlene was born in Montreal, QC, she also lived in Ontario and Nova Scotia . Marlene was a loving caregiver for several people for many years. Her last two years and four months she lived at Shannex- Thomas Hall, where she made many friends,
Marlene is survived by her sister, Avis (nee Vezina) Clark (Louie); brother, Arthur Vezina (Kathy); aunts, uncles, several nieces and nephews; many special cousins, and her very special friend, Marion Brien. Marlene was predeceased by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Harnish; her mother, Gertrude (Mitchell) Davidson and several loving aunts and uncles.
The family wish to express their gratitude to Doctors, Nurses, Staff and Friends at Shannex-Thomas Hall for their kindness and care given to Marlene; and also a special thank you to Pastor Jeff Crabtree and his wife Donna for their friendship and spiritual caring.
There will be a Graveside Service at Sunny Bank Cemetery , Fredericton , NB on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 2 pm with Pastor Jeff Crabtree officiating. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Serenity Free Will Baptist Church or Breast Cancer Research. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
