Obituary of Marlene Audette Schwartz
1933 – 2021
On Monday, January 25, 2021 loving mother and grandmother, Marlene Audette Schwartz (nee Parks) passed away at the age of 87.
Marlene was born October 16, 1933 in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan, to Agnes and Franklin Parks. Marlene was raised in Regina, where she met her husband Don. Don’s job took them all over Canada, even a couple of years in California. They then settled in Edmonton, AB to raise their family. Marlene enjoyed working in an office at a local Elementary School. Marlene and Don loved traveling and camping with many trips to Las Vegas, Spokane, and the Kootenay’s. Cranbrook is where they choose to retire, to be close to family and their beloved grandsons. Marlene also loved quilting especially making quilts for newborns.
She was predeceased by her husband Don, son Dale, brothers Walter and Norman, sister Marion and her parents.
Marlene is survived by her son Dave (Gaylene) Schwartz, daughter Donna Schwartz, grandsons Devin (Jordanne) and Jordan, twin sister Maureen Siebold, sister Lois Smale, some special nieces and other family members.

At Marlene’s request there will be no service. Family will gather in the spring.
