(nee Bell) (April 4, 1939 – July 14, 2018) Our hearts are broken as we announce with extreme grief, the passing of Marlene Kelly of Collingwood, on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at the age of 79, in her home surrounded by her husband and daughters when she lost her battle to cancer. Not one to go without a fight she left for the other side. Marlene leaves behind one family to join another. Marlene is survived by her devoted husband and best friend Herbie of 61 years who was by her side though out her courageous battle and loving daughters Rhonda Kelly Burtch (Dave), Denise Irwin and Pam Kelly (Greg Coker). Proud grandmother of Chris, Catherine, Brian, and Blair Burtch. Mark and Brandon (Lindsay) Irwin. Clayton and Cody Kelly (Jaimee). Great grandchildren Brayden, Payton, Harlow, Hudson, Sophie and Theodore. Beautiful loving sister Doris D’eathe. Her and Herb’s devoted four-legged fur ball Micky. Predeceased by her mom and dad Wallace and Beulah Bell, Brothers Britton and Bedford, Sister Shirley, Son-in-law Mikey Irwin and grandson Billy B Burtch. Cremation has taken place. As per mom and dad’s wishes they wanted to wait for each other and have a joint Celebration of Life at the Collingwood Legion, 490 Ontario Street, Collingwood on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 1:00p.m. – 4:00p.m. As per public health regulations, masks must be worn and social distancing protocols. Proof of ID and Vaccination Passports are required. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 63, or the HGT-Campbell House Hospice.
