It is with heavy hearts we announce the death of Marjorie Curry of Quispamsis, wife of the late Cecil Curry, at home on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.
Born in Middlesbrough, England on March 27, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Amy (Young) Smith. She was a life member of the UCW in New Glasgow. Marjorie enjoyed playing cards, travelling with close friends, and spending time with her family.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter Lynn Hill (Stephen) of Quispamsis, and her son Neil Curry (Lisa) of Pennsylvania, grandchildren, Samantha (Cody) of Halifax, NS, and Geoffrey (Jayden) of Kentville, NS, and her loving great grandson Deacon.
Besides her husband, Marjorie was predeceased by her brother Ernest.
The family would like to thank the staff of Shannex Jubilee Hall Quispamsis and KV Extra Mural for the kindness and care shown to Marjorie in the past year.
In keeping with Marjorie’s wishes there will be no visiting or funeral service. A private family graveside service will take place at Heatherdale Memorial Cemetery in New Glasgow, NS, at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
