Marjorie Spielmacher (nee Kreutzkamp), of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Hanover and District Hospital on Friday, November 12, 2021 at age 97.
Born in Sullivan Township, on April 25, 1924 to the late Nelson and Cecilia (nee Treanuske). Marjorie was employed at Buckeye Canada for over 20 yearsand was a member of the Catholic Women’s League for over 70 years.
Survived by children Audrey (William) Craig, Donald (Mary Lou) Spielmacher both of Hanover, Gerald (Mary Ann) Spielmacher of Surrey, B.C., Jim (Jane) Spielmacher of Waterloo, Joan (Ted) DeBrusk of Kitchener, Paul (Mimi) Spielmacher of Thorold. Dearly loved grandmother of Cheryl (Del) DiFelice, Bill (Charlene) Craig, Todd (Amy) Spielmacher, Amy Morphet, Pamela (David) Guidish and Carolyn (Kevin) Zaruk. She was treasured by her 11 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Ruth Kreutzkamp, Marion Kreutzkamp and Marg Kreutzkamp all of Kitchener-Waterloo as well as many nieces, nephews and their families.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Sylvester, granddaughter Shelly Craig, brothers Chester, Ken, Clifford, Morris and sisters Betty Kreutzkamp, Shirley Schnaeringer and Sylvia Spielmacher.
Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 7-9 pm. All are welcome. Please be aware that masks are mandatory indoors and social distancing regulations will be followed.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 11:00 am, at Holy Family Church, Hanover. Father Emmanuel Azike officiating.
Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Hanover.
