Passed peacefully, At Brantford General Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Thursday August 12, 2021, she was in her 96th year.
Predeceased by her loving husband Walter (2003). Survived by her nieces, Debbie Semple, Sherry and Diana Newstead and a nephews Terry Newstead. Predeceased by her sisters, Mildred Stonehouse and Marion Newstead and a brother-in-law James Newstead, her parents William and Margaret Stonehouse.
Marjorie was a long-time member of Cedarview Church. She was born in Melancthon Twp. and late moved to Canning where she met and settled down with her husband Walter. Eventually she moved to Paris and in recent years resided at Telfer Place. Thank you to all the staff at Telfer Place for their care and support. Thank you also to Dr. Rhoni, Dr. Renn, Dr Legere and all other nurses and staff at BGH for their care and compassion.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Monday from 11-1 PM. Service to follow in the chapel at 1:00. Interment Paris Cemetery. Due to COVID restrictions, masks must be worn, and social distancing maintained.
