Marjorie Marie Cecilia Karn Wednesday May 5th 2021

Karn, Marjorie Marie Cecilia:
Heaven welcomed a beautiful angel on May 5, 2021, and the Blue Jay’s and the Raptors biggest fan, has moved onto a new realm. Sis, Mom, Grandma you left unexpectedly and we didn’t get to say goodbye but we’re happy to know that you didn’t have to suffer alone in a hospital during these crazy times.
Our beloved Marjorie spent 97 years on this earth and made every one of them count. Thank you for always keeping us safe in your thoughts and prayers.
Marjorie was a kind-hearted soul who was always thinking about and feeding others. She will live on in so many of her siblings, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marjorie was fiercely independent, with endless generosity and was an inspirational role model to everyone. She spent much of her time pondering over and solving the daily crossword puzzles in the K-W Record as well as relentlessly trying to skunk her great grandson, Jordan, in a good game of cribbage.
We know her love will continue to guide all of us from the other side. We can’t imagine life without you!
Marjorie began her life on February 1st of 1924 and was followed by 11 more, 6 brothers and 5 sisters. She is predeceased by her husband Del (1999); brothers, Jerry (Eileen), George (Joyce), John (Jean) and Eugene (Patsy) [George] and sisters, Nancy Knapp (Gar) and Barbara Nosal (Ron). She is survived by brothers Mike (Marg) and David (Bev) [George] and sisters Lucy Laba (Larry), Jean Balahura (Bob) and Linda Lehman (Paul). Also survived by 5 children, 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; Judy Stammschroer [Karn], Jim, Jane, Joanne and Janet Karn; Carl Stammschroer, Christine Stammschroer,Carolyn Killen, Jemille Chu Morrison, Aaron Chu and Charanne Cowie; Jordan, Courtney and Alex Killen, Henry, Wesley and Nicole Gouthro, Erik and Danielle Stammschroer, Savannah Chu Morrison, Sienna and Gabriella Chu.
Marjorie’s family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 9th at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Private Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Parish on Monday at 10:00 a.m. with interment following at Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to attend Marjorie’s visitation must RSVP at the funeral home website or by telephone. All are welcome to join Marjorie’s family via live-stream for her Funeral Mass at www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming starting at 9:45 a.m. Monday.
