Marjorie Hattie Moore
September 25, 1934 – December 12, 2021

Moore, Marjorie Hattie age 87 of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully on Dec 12, 2021. She is survived by her son Stuart (Cole Harbour) 4 sisters and 1 brother and many nieces and nephews. Born Sept 25, 1934, she was raised in Sheet Harbour the daughter of the late Fred and Mary (Naugler) Chittick. After high school she worked for Balcom and Chittick Drug Stores and then Scotiabank for several years. In married life, she would move 9 times with her husband Frank to various parts of Nova Scotia, making many lifelong friends and along the way learning how to curl, play card games and renovate houses. She loved being outside working in a garden or mowing the lawn with the ride on mower.
Mom loved to travel taking several cross-country trips by car or tour bus, seeing almost all North America and then seeing more of the world by plane and cruise ship. She loved mystery tours, never knowing where they were going until the tour bus left. When not travelling summers were spent at the cottage in East Linden with time to relax. She was wise, practical and a very kind and loving person who will be missed by all who knew her.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 63 years Frank Thomas Moore, 5 brothers and 1 sister. Cremation has taken place and a grave side service will be held in the spring in Sheet Harbour. Donations can be made in her memory to any charity of your choice.
